Back by popular demand, The Advocacy Center presents “The Path to Success: Can Behavioral Challenges and Success Be in Sync?” on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, 9 am to noon at Carmen Town Lodge in Rochester, New York. Presenters Kathy Giordano and Matt Giordano will engage participants in learning about meeting the needs of individuals with neurological and behavioral disorders.

Kathy Giordano coordinates Tourette Advocacy and Support at The Advocacy Center. She assists families and school districts in developing plans for student success which include positive behavioral strategies. Matt Giordano, Kathy’s son, is a gifted percussionist who has Tourette syndrome.

Participants will gain valuable information and strategies, participate in an interactive drum circle, and leave with renewed energy and enthusiasm for providing positive supports.
